Take a break from admiring new boats or mulling over the merits of engines, generators, fridges and toilets and come an enjoy short theatre shows sharing the stories of generations of women who were born and bred to the boats, or joined them during the war, or fought to save the canals after the war.
You’ll find us down by the historic boats so take some time to find out more about the heritage and world of the working boats. There’s a story board for each boat and their owners will be there to chat to and ask questions.
