We’re on the War path!

In two weeks we will be in Welshpool with two shows celebrating the women who did their bit for the war effort on the boats – not just the very famous Idle Women but the women whose whole life was spent on the boats.

The shows are  on Sep 10^th & 11^th alongside The Longest Yarn exhibition, a unique knitted and crocheted exhibition telling the story of World War II in wool.

It’s been touring the UK since DATE but its stay in Welshpool is a first, because Alan Crowe, who has organised the visit for Welshpool had the great idea of creating a Fringe festival around it. We love the idea of being part of that and there is something for everyone – 1940s music, a food fair, talks from experts in the field, even another solo play, this time about about the first world war, Tommy Atkins.
